Blurring the lines between original and reproduction, these hand-finished Fine Art prints are digitally printed onto authentic textured canvas material, then embellished by hand with layers of paint, mixed media, Gold and Silver leaf and finally Swarovski Crystal.

The central themes of these one of a kind pieces are transformation, metamorphosis and juxtaposition.

All the metal leaf is only part varnished - allowing the uncovered pieces to tarnish over time thus, the work continuously and perpetually changes with each passing year - becoming more true to itself. 

Bringing Matisse’s cut-outs process to Contemporary times, pieces of cut paper are painted and layered onto current technology - digitally printed canvas -  becoming a true juxtaposition between the traditional and the contemporary - between Matisse and the Artist’s own current Art practice.
